What a fun session this was at Nicole’s house in Monroe, WA. If you know me you know I am an animal lover and boy did she have some animals! She chose to do pictures with her horse Orion and dog Dakota (with a photo bomb from the cat Lenny). It was forecast to rain but we had our fingers crossed that it would hold off until we were done. It started to sprinkle towards the end of our shoot and then of course it started to dump! I like to think Orion was telling us he was done modeling in the rain in the last image!
We had another amazing road trip to Utah for a family reunion. I was also fortunate enough to get to photograph this beautiful girl. Morgan just received her mission call to New York and we had to document it! We met at Thanksgiving Point in the Ashton Gardens and it couldn’t have been a more stunning day.
I’ve been photographing this cute couple for a couple of years now and when Elizabeth told me she had a country theme this year and she was hoping to shoot in a meadow and maybe find a barn to use I told her she was in luck! Our new house in Lake Stevens has a beautiful grassy meadow, a covered porch full of rocking chairs, and we just uncovered an old manure spreader with huge steal wheels that I have been dying to use in a photoshoot. Very country.
Our neighbors Pam & Trent with Olympic View Estates also said we were welcome to use their wedding venue grounds to capture a few pictures as well!
